DIVORCE
Our attorneys are able to help you through your divorce, whether by negotiation, litigation, mediation (as a mediator or advisory attorney), advisor, collaborative divorce, or divorce coaching.
PRENUPTIAL AND POSTNUPTIAL AGREEMENTS
We routinely draft, negotiate and advise parties in matters related to prenuptial and postnuptial agreements.
APPEALS
We prosecute and defend appeals related to divorce and family law matters.
FAMILY LAW MATTERS
We routinely represent parents who share children with people they never married. These issues of custody, parenting time and child support are handled through family court.
POST-JUDGMENT MATTERS
Sometimes parties may be divorced or their family matters resolved, but issues arise later on. We successfully negotiate and/or litigate these matters to conclusion.
MEDIATION AND COLLABORATIVE DIVORCE
We help clients seeking to avoid court by serving as mediators or advisory counsel for those in mediation. We also serve as counsel in collaborative divorce matters.
MAGGIE KAMINER
Founding Member
Maggie began her legal career in 2001 as a matrimonial attorney in Maryland and Washington, D.C. prior to moving to New York, where she was admitted to practice in 2005. Maggie routinely appears in Supreme Court and Family Court handling matters related to divorce, custody, child support, visitation and equitable distribution.
Maggie is experienced in both negotiating and drafting separation, divorce, custody and support agreements, as well as pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements.
Maggie is a compassionate and understanding advocate with a proven track record in settling cases, while being prepared to litigate them when necessary.
Maggie’s reputation in the matrimonial community earned her the designation of being a Neutral Evaluator in the Matrimonial Neutral Evaluation program. She is frequently appointed by judges and selected by attorneys actively engaged in litigation to help resolve matters outside of the court system.
Maggie frequently attends Continuing Legal Education seminars focused on Matrimonial and Family Law. She has also repeatedly been designated as a Superlawyer.

JENNIFER KOUZI
Founding Member
Jennifer has been licensed to practice law in New York State since 2002 and has focused her practice in the area of family and matrimonial law since 2004.
In addition to her role as a trusted advisor and attorney for her clients in divorce proceedings, Jennifer is a mediator, collaborative divorce attorney and divorce coach. She also serves as an advisory attorney for clients participating in mediation and offers second opinions for those engaged in litigation.
While Jennifer prefers to guide people through negotiated or mediated settlements, she has also litigated cases through trial and handled appeals. Jennifer currently handles matters in New York, Kings, Westchester, Orange, and Rockland Counties. She maintains an office in Westchester County for the ease of her upstate clients.
Jennifer frequently attends Continuing Legal Education seminars to stay abreast of new laws and trends in divorce and family law and has repeatedly been designated as a Superlawyer.
In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys hiking and traveling with her family. She is also proud of having run 10 marathons.

BIJITHA VARGHESE
Partner
Bijitha “Gigi” Varghese has been admitted to the practice of law in New York in 2012 and New Jersey in 2011. She began working with the firm while she was still in law school and has devoted nearly all of her legal career to family and matrimonial law.
Gigi has experience litigating all aspects of family and matrimonial matters, including child custody, spousal support, child support, parenting time, equitable distribution, separation agreements, and pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements. Clients find her extremely accessible, responsive and compassionate.
Gigi is equally experienced in settlement negotiations outside of litigation and enjoys helping clients find peaceful resolutions.
Gigi recognizes the heavy emotional toll that matrimonial and family law matters can take and seeks to be a source of support as well as a strong legal advocate. Gigi believes that every client’s case is unique and requires a personalized plan specifically tailored to meet the wants and needs of each client.
Gigi has been designated as a Super Lawyer Rising Star since 2015.
